Applicants are required to meet specific criteria concerning nationality, potential age limitations, qualifying examination, pass percentage, and other relevant factors. Qualifying Exam:

Applicants must successfully clear a recognized Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination, equivalent to the 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after completing 12 years of study.

In India, NEET stands as the singular entrance examination for dental admissions at the undergraduate level. No separate examination is conducted for granting admission to BDS programs in the country. Admission to the BDS degree is solely based on NEET scores. Aspiring candidates must participate in and qualify the National Eligibility Entrance Test to pursue a BDS degree.
